This is a photo of the May block front. Cut your patches accurately and sew with a scant 1/4" seam (about one thread less than 1/4" to allow for the width of the seam) and your block will come out perfectly. Be especially careful when you line up your seams. The seams pressed in opposing directions will help with this. Pay attention to the seams between the shoofly units and the snowball units. The seam can be resewn a little larger or smaller so the seams will line up.
