EASY GEESE
Cut 1 rectangle 2" x 3 1/2". Cut two squares 2" x 2". Place one square on the rectangle, right sides together, lining the pieces up at one end. Draw a line diagonally on the square as shown by the dashed line in the graphic below. Stitch on the line. Trim 1/4" beyond the stitching line as shown by the solid diagonal line in the graphic below. Press the seam away from the rectangle (toward the square).
Repeat the previous instructions using the other square on the other end of the rectangle.
Your resulting flying geese unit should look like the graphic below.
